Kelly Taylor started Sasswear in 2009 after entering the burlesque world. As a performer she had to constantly strive to make new and sexy costumes to stand out from the crowd. Soon, other performers were asking her to make their costumes.

Kelly learned to sew at age 9, taught by her mother, she loved to design new things and was always trying to push the barrier.
